My version is 107.0.1 and I do not want to get updated, because in the new version the tabbar is thicker and takes more vertical space. Why do they think everyone uses touchscreen?

But Firefox team is independent from Microsoft. I am sure the thick tabbar can be fixed with extensions, I am just waiting for the corresponding extension to appear.

Everything looks the same to me with 108.0.2 as it did in previous versions.
What do you have density set to?
Right-click top of browser and select customize toolbar.
At the bottom left you will see density and you want "normal" not "touch".
If still too big you can enable compact mode but it is no longer supported.
Compact mode workaround in Firefox | Firefox Help
Learn about a workaround to activate compact mode, if you need to. This feature isn't supported and we still recommend using normal mode.
