I have a new PC build:
I5-13600kf
Asus tuf gaming B760M-plus wifi D4
32gb Corsair vengeance RGB Pro
MSI Ventus 3X 4070
Thermalright peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB
Arctic MX-6
Western Digital WD_Black SN850X
Thermaltake V150 ARGB Breeze
EVGA 610w
Thermaltake contact frame
Computer freezes hard, no mouse or kb response, have to turn off the power at the power supply for about 30 seconds before it will power back on. This happens EVERY TIME I try to install windows 11 from thumb drive. It can happen at any point, but ALWAYS occurs before "getting files ready..." reaches 76٪. In fact it frequently locks up exactly at 76%.
If I install windows 10, it installs fine, but randomly locks up in windows. Strangely it never seems to lock up while running cinebench. After installing windows 10, I then upgrade to windows 11, but windows 11 will lock up every few minutes.
I have tried replacing the m.2 with an old platter drive, replacing the ram, replacing the motherboard, replacing the video card, reseating the processor.
Nothing I do seems to fix this. Any ideas?
