Windows 11 full dark theme

Hello,

I'm looking for a theme that is applying dark background to legacy apps, like task scheduler, regedit and etc. like Rectify11 dark theme does it, but I don't want to use it, as it changes too many file explorer elements, and adds some weird animations to it. I would like the theme to look exactly like regular win11 dark theme, but with abovementioned addition. Free or paid - doesn't matter to me.

Might I suggest joining Virtual Customs and looking through their themes, including Windows 10 ported to 11, IE:


The site is 100% safe, I have been a member there since 2010...and in fact a Mod now. It's pretty slow these days but if you post a question someone experienced (more than I ;) ) will reply

AFIK there is no native way to change certain elements of these apps, not even registry hacks. You might look into 3rd party tools like WindowBlinds (paid) or UltraUXThemePatcher (free)
Note: I am not recommending the use of either one as I know nothing about them.

I'm using SecureUXTheme with Rectify11 dark theme, but R11 theme changes too many elements in file explorer, so I'm looking for as basic theme as possible, which forces dark theme on legacy stuff, like R11 theme does.

You can install his theme but there is no wallpaper supplied. Note that there is no easy way to change the overall look of Windows. Microsoft Store themes modify the wallpaper and dark/light mode. You can't use pure black in default Windows as a colour, unless you install SecureUXTheme to override the default colour, which is dark gray.

what? themes and wallpapers are not tied together unless you want to include a background with your theme.
the default color in windows dark mode (unmodified) is #202020, which is black. just not "true" black
you can, however, use an OLED monitor and it will appear as "true" black....

Just an FYI there is a set of vivetool codes to enable Dark Mode for "File Operation Dialogs" like copying, deleting, moving files etc. now if that helps.

You can include what wallpaper you like with a theme and save it with your preferred title. Is it possible to replace Windows default icons with a third party icon pack?

yeah tons of ways. if you're inexperienced with modifying .dll or .mun files though, you can use 7tsp and download a variety of icon packs for 7tsp.

You can use the Classic theme.
