Solved Windows 11 Ghost Spectre No WiFi?

I'm installing windows 11 ghost spectre, unfortunately it seems to not have WiFi. I've tried installing the WiFi drivers, but to no avail. Any ideas?

I tried the Asus driver install and silent install, both did not work. I also tried various other driver installs just kinda hoping one would work... nothing tho

Not sure there's a surprise when issues occur in an operating system that has been tampered with.

Try updating your network drivers via Device Manager, or using Network Adapter Reset.

I just tried network adapter reset and updating in device managers , did not work. I am going to try uninstalling the ports in device manager and restarting to have them pop up again, if you have any other suggestions please let me know! :)
edit: uninstalling ports and restarting did not work.

I did see this somewhere at Reddit, is it actually an option?

  1. Open ghost toolbox
  2. There will be a option named driver easy
  3. Put the designated number and press enter
  4. Install and run the app
  5. Then, it will scan ur device and install drivers.

The problem, with this is that you need WiFi to open ghost toolbox. My PC is too far from my router to Ethernet so that's off the table.

Sometimes we need to move things to achieve things. Move your PC for the task.

Also, try the troubleshooter

Open command prompt as admin and enter the following, press enter

There is troubleshooter but it does not function without access to WiFi for some odd reason, and unfortunately because of how my monitor is set up I cannot simply move my whole setup downstairs. I am considering scrapping the whole thing and trying windows 11 standard again, hopefully it has WiFi...

If Windows 11 release doesn't have WiFi, I could only suggest that there may be an issue with your adapter.

I personally don’t trust these stripped down versions of Windows. Also, when things are stripped down, things go wrong.

The way I see it you have two options:
  1. Continue using the release version of Windows 11
  2. Try reinstalling that scary Ghost again and hope that the original issue was an install glitch.

I have an opinion — if the purpose for using Ghost was to enable better privacy, I don’t believe it works. Microsoft will obtain what it is Microsoft wants to obtain. You could always use your PC without any internet connected, in my opinion that’s truly the only way Microsoft fails to know what it wants to know.

As for websites, you can restrict data collection etc. via the browser settings I believe.

To strip down Windows without causing too much grief, use Revo Uninstaller (Free version) and head to the apps section, start removing what you don’t want. For anything else, start a thread for help to remove/add/change stuff.
