windows 11
Hi all i have a intel imac which it says cpu not supported everything else passes the check on my windows 10 pro virtual machine in parallels desktop, on my late 2015 imac, i was going to update it to windows 11 when i did the test and said processor not supported , but curious as its a 4 core processor , an intel core I7 6700k . seems to meet the minimum if you go by the cores and so forth. this is a virtual machine , so any issues with updating it to windows 11 ?

Are you talking about PC's that are not TPM 2.0 compatible? I believe there are available work arounds. I know when installing Windows 11 to a USB drive using Rufus, I see an option to disable the TPM 2.0 requirement. I don't know if it works or if MS have officially started to support older hardware yet.

Your CPU is unsupported for starters. Just use the hacks discussed in the relevant thread to bypass compatibility check and install Windows 11 on any computer with a 64-bit CPU.
