Windows 11 Insider Preview 22449.1000 (rs_prerelease) timebomb exploded

Hi,

I was remotely conected with Teamviewer to my Windows 11 "22449.1000" and I changed the date manually to December 2021, when instantly Teamviewer disconected and I can't conect anymore.

I think the top date of this dev version is October 30, and I was trying to do a fix, so i decided to change system date manually.

TeamViewer hangs when "Initializing Visualization Parameters"

I Don't know what is actually in the screen, maybe a message saying time has expired?

I have access to files from Teamviewer yet, and to my FTP server.

Has anyone experienced the timebomb?

Is there any option to reconnect again remotely?

I don't know why you would want to set the date past October the 31st. Have you tried resetting the date?

You'll probably need someone to get physical access to the server for you (assuming this can be done) and revert the date. I suspect this is a fail-safe built into either TeamViewer or else maybe Windows 11.

Have you tried other remote access methods? Can you use other mgmt tools, like anything from SysInternals, to maybe access the server via a commandline and reset the date from there?

If you can, try a different computer to see if that can work.

I've tried doing the same thing on VirtualBox with 2449.1000 and I change the date without problem, so I think the problem, is, as you say, something related to Teamviewer.

The problem is that I only have FTP server and no other remote access methods, If only I could reboot it with a remote command...

This is the screen that hangs.

Tv has a connection time limit for non commercial use. By changing the date TV automatically stopped. I'm not sure how much the date change affects it but usually, after a while, you can get reconnected but I'm not sure because you made a date change.

Also, I don't think you can access it if RDP is not enabled.

Nothing at all, I contacted my Internet provider to close ports 20 and 21, to avoid attacks from external users to my FTP Server, until i go to the computer physically.
