Windows 11 install running VMware Workstation 17.5.2 stuck on "Getting Ready" and a Fonts Question

What would cause Windows 11 during Installation to be stuck on "Getting Ready" for over 2 hours on VMWare Workstation? How many fonts does it to make Windows become slow as a snail? I only put in 70 fonts on top of the ones windows comes with? JTM

"Getting Ready" displayed by OOBE, typically when SetupComplete is running. If forcing a hard reset (reboot) makes the install proceed to the desktop, then something in your Post-Setup is blocked.

After logging on, check your \Windows\Panther logs for a clue.

Additional fonts don't make Windows run slower. But some apps take a long time to load up a list of all fonts before they run, like Adobe products.
