Solved Windows 11 locks after 1 minute -

Odd, I clone machines all the time here. From different brands also, never had an issue. Of course, being the IT admin, the worst issue I've ever dealt with (this) I have. WTF????? Starting a new machine from scratch. Out of ideas.

I can only recommend a proper re-installation in this case.
You should not have a Nvidia control panel in a system that does not have a Nvidia card in it.
Maybe you could try to uninstall anything pertaining to Nvidia..
Use autoruns from sysinternals and see if anything is started from Nvidia.

Have you tried changing the value to some other number first like 15 minutes and see if the locking time would take longer and then changing it back to never?

I had this problem on my new T16 and it was quite irritating. No Microsoft forum answer helped, but one answer triggered a thought.

Run services.msc and locate these two services:
- Elliptic Human Presence Detection
- Virtual Lock Sensor
Disable both. To disable a service, right-click, select Properties, and change the Startup type to Disable.
Since I've done that I no longer have the 1-minute lock.

Yeah. Flattened the computer. Resolved. Opened a ticket with MS and they had me do the usual USELESS busywork. Bunch of fools that work for Microsoft.

Dude. i just made an account here for you <3.
look in UEFI/BIOS, somewhere under Energy/Power. Had the same on my Lenovo P16s and it was driving me NUTS.
There you can switch from Balanced to performance on AC or on Battery.

@Joel98, did you try my method posted on Dec 15 2023? I noticed today that the two services had been re-enabled (probably by a Lenovo Vnatage update) and so I once again put them into disabled mode and the problem goes away.
Be sure also to stop the services if they are presently running.
