Solved Windows 11 locks after 1 minute -

Anybody that can fix this, I'd consider you God. Tried everything under the sun. Lenovo T16 laptop new, Windows 11 fresh install. Reset bios, powercfg -h off, all power options set to never. Screensaver = none
All Lenovo updates done. No flags in Dev Mgr

No GPO set for lock time etc... on the domain

Log in as local account or any other account = same behaviour. Not specific to a login account, otherwise I would have wiped my profile already.

Only happens when hands are off the keyboard / mouse - computer left idle

So, what is the behaviour inferred by 'times out' in your question? DO you mean the device goes to sleep, or do you mean that it aborts some operation or another, and, if so, which operation does it abort?

Forgot to look in the event viewer

An account was logged off.

Subject:

Logon ID: 0xAE6F23C

Logon Type: 2

This event is generated when a logon session is destroyed. It may be positively correlated with a logon event using the Logon ID value. Logon IDs are only unique between reboots on the same computer.

Pretend you hit CTRL+ALT+DEL > Lock computer
Computer locks. Sorry if I wasn't more clear.

Okay. Does this issue occur when the computer is idle, or when you are accomplishing some task?

Not sure which you tried already, you might like to review any of these suggestions:

Check your Power Settings
Update your Display Driver
Disable Hibernation
Recover from Windows Update (Rollback)
Clean Boot the Computer

System > Power & battery
Accounts > Sign-in options

Add the hidden unattended Sleep timeout via reg. Edit power plan > advanced > will be set to 2 by default. Set it to 0

Yes I have. I even have another computer, that I use when I work from home. Same laptop T16 and it's doing the same thing. Even when logged in as administrator for the domain.

Yes I am. Several people use the same hardware setup and no one else is having issues.

This must be a real pain.
Do you have the model with the optional Nvidia card in it?
Your specs in your profile are on the light side.
Has it always been like this? How did it start if not.
