Windows 11 S-Mode Guest account profile not removed on logout

I just created a guest account on a laptop running Windows 11 S-mode. Since Windows no longer allows using the traditional username of 'Guest' for local user accounts I used netplwiz to create an account with a different name and changed from the Users group to the Guests group. When I login I can see in advanced user options that the profile is set to 'Temporary' but when I log out and then log back in the profile does not reset.

My question is isn't a guest account supposed to reset its profile on logout and its desktop and user profile supposed to be wiped out? Does that only apply to guest accounts with the username guest?

Logging out and back in would not reset the profile of the 'temporary' account. You will need to restart.

Have you considered changing out of S mode into full blown windows. As a computer administrator, S mode severely restricts you and I promise there will come a time you need access to all of windows management tools.

FYI-Accounts should be created and managed using either settings or computer management (Since S mode restricts you from using command prompt or powershell you cannot use either of those methods).

Restarting the computer does not seem to do it either
