System with Windows 11 S mode. How can I use DISM, or SFC?

Header explains it pretty well.

I want to use DISM or SFC to troubleshoot a slow loading and freezing problem on boot up. As you know with S mode, no outside programs or apps have been installed,
the system is 100% as it came out of the box with my laptop, excepting the updates which are current.

What happens when you try to use SFC or DISM in S Mode? Any error message?

(I think they should both work.)

SFC and DISM are diagnostic/repair features in Windows, not outside programs, and as mentioned should work. But they do need to be run in Administrator mode.

Welcome to the forum @legacy7955. I agree with Zbook. Why in the world would anyone want to limit control of windows by using S mode. Switch out of S mode. It's very easy to do..

Nope - S mode will not run command prompts even with admin rights.

Only option is to leave S Mode.

I looked in the MS store and did not see that option or app. Maybe the available apps are customized to each Windows version?
