Turning off animations in Windows like below may do the trick.
I've had an after-installation ritual for several Windows versions now. (At least as far back as Win7.) Things like:

- remove arrows from desktop shortcuts
- remove "Shortcut" verbiage from desktop shortcuts
- unhide file extensions in File Explorer
- show hidden files/folders/drives
- set to single-click to open an item, no check-boxes, underline only when I hover over
- set Open File Explorer to: This PC
- disable "Sharing Wizard"
- remove the six (?) user folders that appear in the right-pane of File Explorer
- put the drive letter before the label in File Explorer
- increase number of jumplist items for Task Bar icons
- clean-up Task Bar (remove Cortana/Search/People/Widgets/etc

and ... back on topic now --

- turn off all the bloody animations!

Dear Microsoft, I know that you know what is best for me, but I really do change/override all those default settings. Even with Win11.

Hi,
Hell just make a rounded corners desktop theme and we can just use it on 10 and skip all the new security nonsense on 11

Dear Microsoft, I know that you know what is best for me, but I really do change/override all those default settings. Even with Win11.
Except for "increase number of jumplist items for Task Bar icons" (don't use that) and changing menu bar animations (that happens almost instantly at any setting), I do all of that too. Using Winaero Tweaker which can remember most of those settings and restore them in couple of clicks. For anything beyond Winaero Tweaker's capabilities I have ready set of registry changes.
Some other changes are Single mouse click activation, adjusting Power saving features (all set for best performance), passwordless Sign in, disabling hyberfill and stuff like that. It still takes a while to set everything in case of clean installation and larger CU updates. To speak nothing about reinstalling programs of which some need new activation.
