Windows 11 not recognizing NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card

I have gone into the settings and set RHINO to use the card - This is the error : Is it a driver issue?

I have not explicitly changed anything in the BIOS - does it need to be?

Check Settings - display - Graphics and customise settings for applications. You might need to add the app and then select something like this,

Yes, I did that step and selected the card from the dropdown. Thats why I posted. Not sure what to do next.

Many many times

Have a look at Nvidia control panel -manage 3d settings. Global settings on auto-select. Under program settings add the app and select the preferred gpu - apply. Reboot. Don't know what else to suggest.

I don't own a laptop that uses Optimus technology.

It requires that both Intel and nVidia drivers are installed. I don't know what settings are needed in the nVidia control panel.

Don't let Windows Update automatically install drivers. Download the latest graphics drivers directly from Intel and nVidia, install the Intel first, then nVidia and restart.
