Windows 11 not recognizing USB devices

Please can someone help! Since I’ve upgraded to windows 11 my
USB drive does not work! Every time I plug a dongle in for either a mouse and Kay board or a flash drive I get a windows explorer error msg! Windows support have been piddle poor! I’m not able to downgrade back to windows 10 as I can not use a sub storage drive. Help meee

Did you just finished upgrading? Have your restarted the PC?

So it was upgraded around 2 weeks ago! Mouse and keyboard worked fine! Done a factory reset last week because I was giving the laptop to my partner and since then no usb works in the port!

Give us more info about the laptop (brand and model) so someone with the same hardware and issue can point you to the right direction.

Reading the first post it sounds like it's the USB ports that aren't working. I'm thinking a corrupted driver. A repair install might help.
