Windows 11 start menu went from 8 to 6 across

windows 11 64
I made no change what so ever. The machine booted up and went back to 6 versus 8 across. Any way to get it back to 8 ?

6 vs 8 across what?

Are we talking Resolution or Scaling?
Right click a blank space on the desktop and choose Display Settings.

Under Display Resolution, make sure it is the (Recommended) setting
and under Scaling choose the percentage that works best for you.

You can try playing with the display scaling in small increments to see if that changes it back. I got one machine to go from the small menu back to the large menu by doing that. Course the smaller text was hard on the eyes so I had to go into accessibility setting and increase the text size then lol.

Small Start menu is 6 columns across and large is 8 columns across.

Thanks everyone. I tried adjusting the displat and scaling. This was a known issue a short while back. I may just restor to an image I took a week ago.
