OK....here's another tweak that works.

IF you do this tweak...

Disable "Show more options" context menu in Windows 11

This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable having to click on "Show more options" to see the full context menu for your account or all users in Windows 11. When you right click on an item in Windows 11, you will see a new modern condensed context menu with Show more options...

@Spartan wanted to remove "Extract All..." (on the .zip file right click menu), and the above, Winaero tweak, worked flawlessly on Windows 11. I tested this myself, here...

Remove "Extract All" tweak doesn't work on Windows 11

I used this reg file but it's still there when I right click a .ZIP file. I don't want it since I have 7-ZIP installed. Any ideas? Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CompressedFolder\ShellEx\ContextMenuHandlers\{b8cdcb65-b1bf-4b42-9428-1dfdb7ee92af}]

Well, it works... mostly.
Keep in mind that MS is "adjusting" Windows 11 on a daily if not hourly basis.

Like any tweaking program, we have to wait for newer versions for some items.

I believe you need to take care of that in the 7zip file associations.
That item on the context menus was put there by 7zip, not by Windows.

In 7zip's File Manager under Tools > Options > System... items moved to the right column will NOT be associated with 7zip.

Keep in mind... I don't "write" these programs (7zip or Winaero Tweaker).
Some of these things you just have to figure out for yourself.

General rule of thumb, always check a programs Options/Preferences... etc.

Newer version "for" some items.
When Microsoft changes something in Windows 11, a Winaero tweak that worked in the past, may no longer work any more.
In those cases... we may have to wait for a newer version of Winaero.

Again, keep in mind, that I don't write these programs. I, like you, just use them.

Always check @Brink's tutorials as well.

Tweaking Windows 11 is kind of like... sculpting. A chisel cut that worked on an arm, may not work when sculpting an... eye.
We need to adjust as Windows 11 changes.

If anyone has particular questions about certain tweaks working or not working... it would be best to make a separate topic concerning that tweak. All tweaks don't work the same for all people or all setups, either.

Again... I don't write these programs. I'm just treading the Windows 11 water, just like the rest of you.
When I have an issue with a particular tweak, especially one that involves a 3rd party program... I check that program's Preferences/Options, I check the tutorials, I check the tutorials, I google the issue.

I try to use ALL the tools in my toolbox. Only relying on one tool for all tasks, is gonna cause a lot of... smashed thumbs.

And, on a side note... I like having 7zip deal with ALL zip files of all types.

This topic is just a collection of tutorials and tools that seem to be working on Windows 11. They are here for ease of access, not because I "have all the answers".

I believe I mentioned this above...

Hi GHOT. I went on 22623.1180 and now my Task bar is not clear? Does that hack still work? if so I can't find it.

It still works on that version.
