Windows 11 won't restart

Got this issue, just started recently (maybe with one of the updates) but when I press the start button then the power button and then choose restart, Windows 11 shuts down rather than restarts. Does anyone know if this could be an update issue or maybe something else going awry?.

Turn off fast startup to see if it makes a diference.

Also make sure you have the latest bios updaate.

It would help us help you if you would fill out your system specs in your computer profile.
Click on your name on the tool bar. Then system specs. Be sure to include your version and build of 11. To see an example see mine by clicking on "My computer" at the bottom of this post.
