This is new This began to happen 2 days ago.

Whenever I launch my game, I receive this message windows cannot open this application.

Not much to go off of. Have you tried re-installing? Is it a newer game? If not, is it compatible with your OS? Have you looked in eventviewer for more details in the application log?
