Solved Windows Explorer to open a Command Prompt ?

One feature of Ubuntu that I miss when on Windows is the ability to use the directory browsing tool, which in the case of Windows, is called Windows File Explorer, to open a command line window. Is this feature available for Windows?

Not sure if this is what you want, but you can open the Command Prompt at given directory path by typing cmd.exe into the address bar and press Enter key.

You can go to Search and type CMD
You can press the Windows key +X and choose Terminal and Terminal (Admin)
You can Right click any folder and choose to Open In Terminal
You can press the Windows key +R and type CMD in the Run box.

Even typing CMD on its own works. Thanks, I never knew this tip.

After WIN+X you can just type the underscored letter - WIN+X, A for example.

Or WIN+X , U, R for a quick restart.

You can also open PowerShell by typing powershell at address bar.

Download and install Winaero Tweaker. There are many tweaks there, inculding adding "Open Command Promt here" or "Open PowerShell here" in context menu. So if you open the parent folded in File Explorer, then you can right-click on the desired subfoder and select to open Command Prompt (or Terminal) or PowerShell in that folder. There are also available the corresponding options to open the prompts as Administrator.
