windows processes doubled after system restore

Hi folks,

after a recent hard shut down, I accidentally hit restore instead of just restart.

Now, multiple processes are showing twice or even 4x.

Any idea?

Why the hard shut down ... start of problems ??

Borked restore process ? Go a new/extra Windows.OLD or Windows.000 folder ?

Backup personal data as a matter of urgency before starting tweaks/switches/etc.

(Have never trusted - from previous bad experiences - the reliability on any of the 3 Rs - Repair/Recovery/Restore. Frequent imaging, and the occasional clean install, much better options)
