Windows Sandbox--Leave Enabled or Disable again?

Hello There

A While back i enabled the built in Windows Sandbox to check out a small application to convert some files to another format, and then transferred them to my Google Drive, so i could access them outside the Sandbox. I haven't opened it much since

Not sure if i should keep it just in case i wanna check out another little application or what

Well, as usual in life, the day you discard something, the next day you need it.

How can we advise what to do here?

Well in that case I'll just leave it as is

Just backup the "old system" -- and if you need it again then just restore it.

A good way is to have it on an external device as a "Windows2Go" type of system. Very easy to create one - even from a running system -- simply clone the entire Windows disk (including efi partition) to the external device, set via the reg key "PortableOS = 0" instead of "1", re-install the boot loader if necessary -- e.g assume your EFI partition is "S" and your external Windows system is "W" then cd W:\windows\system32, W:, bcdboot w:\windows /s S: /f UEFI

If you do that and need to retrieve files etc --then you just boot the external device and it won't mess around with your latest windows version.

If you have any trouble with creating the boot loader simply boot from a windows install media --->repair system-->command mode and then as above.

Will Give that a shot definitely, Gonna get a better M.2 Enclosure think first of all lol, then I should be all set to setup the Windows2Go type of system. My current M.2 Enclosure like thingy is open air one, don't think meant for permanent usage.

But i can get the Clone done with this Enclosure and then move it to permanent one when i get it asap here.
