Solved Windows Security stuck at scanning

Whenever I run a scan either to the PC or simply to a flash drive it starts to scan then suddenly gets stuck randomly.

How long are you giving it to complete?
What happens if you scan a USB with only a couple of files on it?
Whatever you're scanning above has 241,000 files. It's going to take a while.
It also depends on the types of files, your PC's processing power etc
The blue indication bar might not be moving, but that doesn't mean the scan isn't doing anything.

I just tried scanning a flash drive with a few files, the first time it got stuck after 4 seconds then it finished the scan completely on the second run.

When it gets stuck it freezes completely.

Open search on your PC, type CMD. Right click on the Icon and “Open as admin”

Type (or copy and paste) the following command:
Code: 
SFC /scannow

Press enter and be patient.

When completed, type (or copy and paste) the following command:
Code: 
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Press enter and be patient.

Reboot your PC
