seems whenever I extend the period (slmgr -dlv followed by slmgr -rearm and reboot) I continue to get re-arms staying on 5 (and Ive done at least 2) -- so no complaints there. I've converted it to a "Desktop" where it really runs very well indeed compared to standard W11 even though I'm really "mis-using" the server !!!
And it still receives the regular updates without any of the horrors with some of the insider builds. But of course these aren't designed to run on the latest hardware -- particularly with some modern GPU's so if you want to play with the trial (free) it may not perform as expected if you have sophisticated gaming rigs - but on a modeest laptop or as a VM - works beautifully.
