Thanks, I understand. I am just wondering should I even bother fixing these issues? I still have a few days left to return the system.
I would return it and get a replacement or to let them fix the problem. You shouldn't have to fix anything on a new computer.

Update ALL your drivers. Get the manufacturer's Driver Update app and update everything, or update drivers from device manufacturer website.

I forgot to add, Delete all of your personal data first. If there is one, run the OEM app to restore the computer back to it's OEM setup.

Update ALL your drivers. Get the manufacturer's Driver Update app and update everything, or update drivers from device manufacturer website.
If it's really running as hot as they posted, I think the best option would be to return it while they still can. A brand new computer shouldn't need to be fixed. It should just work.

That's what I was thinking with all these issues ...

Done my best with that already, both via the Intel Update App + MyAsus app + manual research.

Put in a previous SSD, so I'll just take that out.

This is what I would do. When you get the computer back use a macrium rescue disk or what ever imaging program you prefer and do a system image to a external drive. Then setup the computer and backup the drivers. There's a guide on the forums on how to do it or you can install a third party driver backup program. I'm not sure if it can be done but it would be easier if there's a way to backup the installed drivers without starting Windows. Then you wouldn't even need the image unless you wanted one. I know there are rescue programs that run from a USB drive without starting Windows. Someone else will have to post if it's possible or not. This way if you swap the drive again, you will have the drivers you might need on the back up drive. You can do that in Device Manager. Just choose the device, hit update driver and point it to the drive with the drivers you backed up.

I'd take it back and probably get a better cpu for the replacement as that one seems like it would be on turbo just running windows. 1.4ghz base frequency seems kinda slow.

I'll mark the post as solved. I will do as some have suggested, simply return the unit as I can't be asked to spend hours trying to fix something when I just bought it a few days ago. Thanks everyone for the help & suggestions prior!

I feel that's your best solution. You should be using your new computer and not trying to fix it.
