Windows spotlight image missing in the lock screen

hi,
I am in the Dev channel. The Windows spotlight image is missing in the lock screen. I believe this is a bug as of a feedback in the feedback hub. Any Insiders facing the issue?

I don't use spotlight at all.
I don't use a LOT of things MS included with Windows. :-)



I just put this pic on my lock screen... permanently.

To permanently set a custom picture on your Windows 11 lock screen,
navigate to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen, change the "Personalize your lock screen" dropdown to Picture, and browse for your desired image. Ensure you toggle off "Get fun facts, tips, tricks..." to prevent default image overrides, and turn on "Show the lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen" for consistency.

Naw. When I remove something, it's gone for good.

I have same thing in Release Preview. Had it before and it has fixed itself after a while. propably will this time as well in some point

I also don't have windows spotlight on lock screen on dev channel. Tried everything but it didn't come back.

I tend to agree, I find it nonsense for all these Engines and Gadgets running in the background when you can find all this stuff on the internet yourself. 🤷‍♂️

I agree with you, I also do not use spotlight but that's not the point. We are trying to figure out why spotlight is not working on certain circumstances.
