Android Windows Subsystem for Android arrives in Microsoft Store for Windows 11

You can now (sort of) download the Windows Subsystem for Android, assuming you meet the requirements and enjoy disappointment.

As you must know, the Windows Subsystem for Android will enable Windows 11’s most eagerly-awaited new feature, Android app compatibility, and the related Amazon Appstore for Android store-within-a-store. Microsoft announced this new feature at the Windows 11 reveal back in June, but it failed to mention that it wouldn’t even ship it this year, let alone when Windows 11 first ships to the public on October 5. Instead, it will arrive later in 2022, either as a standalone cumulative update or, less likely, as part of Windows 11 2.0 in October 2022.

Says incompatible Processsor (which I know as it's an older i7) - not sure why that would stop the Android subsystem running though?

'this app will not work on your device' is what I get..
so, apparently, being in the Insider Beta Channel is a requirement, I a chose just the release preview channel. I had decided I did not want to get too deep into brand new testsing and such, so it is my fault. I am good, I will hold back as all is good for now.

Just tried the download in the link provided by z3r010 (post 4). No go, as I'm not in the beta program.

There's exactly one Android app I'd like to run on the PC. I used the Blue Stacks emulator previously. (Some times it worked.) I'd prefer to do it through an MS blessed utility.
