Windows tried to update despite me setting it to not auto-update

And it failed to update to the latest Jan update.
Is there a way to stop it from trying again other than a temporary pause?
Looking at update history it does not list the failed update
This is on unsupported hardware with 25H2 build 26200.6584

You will have to manually resume and check for updates when you want to get them. Otherwise, all updates via Windows Update will be paused.

Hi John,

I believe you have to update Office from Office directly. Just go to File>(Office) Account>Microsoft 365 and Office Updates and click on the Update Options box then Update Now.

I dont have Office 395 or use a Windows account, I have a perpetual license for Office 2019 and they have always come through Windows Update. I still get Office 2012 security updates in Windows 7 as well

MSOffice 2010 & MSOffice 2013 have been out of support since 2020, 2023 respectively.
I have seen references to a Microsoft Office 2012 Professional Plus but I do not know which of the above its support was tied to.

Microsoft stopped providing security updates, bug fixes, and technical support on that date.
