Windows update of "Intel(R) Corporation - System - 10.29.0.7767" fails to install w. error 0x80070103

I have been unable to get the above referenced update "Intel(R) Corporation - System - 10.29.0.7767" to install and windows update keeps asking to reinstall it. I would greatly appreciate some assistance re how to either fix the problem or hide the update.

I suggest to go directly to Intel site and run the Intel Driver and Support assistant to update any Intel drivers rather than letting Microsoft update your drivers through Windows Update.
The assistant will scan your machine and update any outdated drivers. WU sometimes tends to install outdated drivers. For this reason, I have turned off driver updating through WU and manage my own drivers by using both Intel's tool and the manufacturer support site for my computer model. I check every month or two or if I encounter a problem.

Unfortunately, I have had problems getting Intel's DSA to run properly on my machine. Have installed it and uninstalled it with Intel's DSA uninstall tool several times and only got it to work sporadically, if at all. But I'll probably try it again, to attempt to resolve this issue.
