Are you still having issues with Edge and Firefox sync also?

This loss of connection might actually be what was happening the whole time.

Try resetting Edge to all defaults / create a new profile in Edge with only default settings without syncing and see if it happens.

If not, try syncing the new profile and see if it starts.
Not since I went back to Windows 10 19043.1051

I just checked there is no way to disable the Intel Port in The Bios. Maybe a loop back would work..

Nice. Glad you got it working.

You gonna check your sync with Edge and Fx now? See if that made a difference....

I doubt it, but you may be lucky....

Well it was working till I started to play Microsoft Solitaire Collection then all the fun began again with losing The Net in both Firefox and EDGE. I will not ever try 11 again till it is FINAL and even then with reservations. I have already wasted enough of what is left of my life on this ! If you look at the upgrade process for me it did not even reboot. It seems to just move Windows 10 around in some God Forsaken manner. I am done Two weeks on this is enough. Thanks for everyone's help.

Unvarnished. I like it. (y)

All the best, Josey.

A lot of us here, and Josey is no exception, don't mind speaking our minds.

We all generally like it like that, too.

No point in sugar coating it. Especially when it comes to Microsoft. :lmao:

That's the secret to mastering Windows Josey, never give up, take a time out, walk away for a while(figuratively), use a different system, but my biggest trick is, do a Bing search describing your problem ,and not Google, because Bing's SEO is set to Microsoft sources and posts on the net, and usually works better than Google for Microsoft questions.

Thanks Cliff, what I did was install it from Windows 10 and not The Dump. When my Reatec Gibabit Adapter stopped working I just switched it to the Intel and updated it. That was mentioned here as well, this time only one connection and so far all works. Thanks a million to every member of this Forum. I liked Win 11 so I knew in time I would be back, I slept on it and made up my mind. I like a Challenge. Now for more :coffee: :coffee:
