Are you getting any error messages in Reliability Monitor or Event Viewer? If so, they may lead you to some possible remedies. First thing to check: make sure your driver is current and known to work with Windows 11...
Hope you get things fixed soon. Nothing is more frustrating than flaky networking. I had a similar problem last month when an Ethernet NIC started failing on an older PC. It would knock the switch over, and cause the network to reset, at random intervals. Drove me nuts till I figured things out.
HTH,

Try newest or oldest network card driver to see problem resolves.

You can also reset TCP/IP protocol suite, hopefully that will help.

Good, if it won't work try resetting network card by executing netcfg -d command from administrative Command Prompt and restart your computer.

Don't know what to suggest. My motherboard has a Realtek L8200A network controller. Pretty similar to the Realtek controller on your motherboard. I've had zero trouble with it under 11.

My Win 11 installation was a clean install using an ISO from uupdump.net.

Happened to me. But my mobo has 2 ethernet ports. Realtek isn't working. The Intel Ethernet does work. So, my quick fix was just to switch ethernet ports.

Well I did a Repair Install and had another loss of Net, one more and I will be back in Windows 10. I have had it!

Since I had Windows 10 set up exactly like I wanted, and it never seems to have problems...

I made a full OS Image backup of Win 10 and restored it (in my case) to a separate SSD.
Then... I did an In-Place Upgrade of the Win 10 copy. Haven't had any Win 11 issues other than things like the Win 11 Start Menu, which MS did on purpose anyway.

Josey take a look at the driver in Device Manager and make sure the power saving crap is turned off(unselected)

Happened to me. But my mobo has 2 ethernet ports. Realtek isn't working. The Intel Ethernet does work. So, my quick fix was just to switch ethernet ports.

Mine motherboard has two ethernet ports as well.
Like you I chose the Intel ethernet port.

Josey
Now for the out of the box thought, "how long has the network cabling been in place?" I recently solved my own wired networking which came down to a bad connection in a short Ethernet extension cable that happened regularly but intermittently, I temporarily removed the extension and the almost daily failures went away, I have a new extension arriving today but also have an additional switch on the way - which will give me a totally reliable connection (although the last extension lasted almost 10 years without a a glitch )

Works fine on these Nic's - I use the USB->LAN one as I then run short piece of LAN cable to a Switch. The laptop doesn't have any LAN connectors. Also set to FULL DUPLEX gets maximum throughput on Network.

Josey take a look at the driver in Device Manager and make sure the power saving crap is turned off(unselected)
View attachment 4712

You're welcome Josey, I hope it was just that "simple"(but it usually never is:():)
The driver power management is controlled by what ever C-state your system is in at the moment, I have all C-States turned on in my BIOS, but I don't allow my peripherals to turn off inside of Windows.

To learn more about C-states see my post here: Table of what the C-States do

Are you still having issues with Edge and Firefox sync also?

This loss of connection might actually be what was happening the whole time.

Try resetting Edge to all defaults / create a new profile in Edge with only default settings without syncing and see if it happens.

If not, try syncing the new profile and see if it starts.
