I finally have a PC that will run modern games so I decided to download a few but my Xbox elite controller isn't able to connect to my PC.
I updated the controller drivers on the Xbox console before removing the controller. The controller shows up in device manager, but not in the Xbox Accessories App and offers no control in-game. When I plug the controller in I get the audible windows prompt that it's recognized. I have tried connecting via the supplied USB-USBC cable and USBC-USBC aftermarket cable with no luck. My mobo does not have Bluetooth capabilities so that isn't an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
