Yet another question on Admin account and Standard User account

I have an OLD desktop:

• where I created an Admin account that I always used; and
• a Standard User account that I only created out of curiosity, I never used the Standard User account.

The old desktop is retired, I still have it but I prefer not to turn it on.

I have a NEW desktop (which is a replacement for the old desktop) where I created an Admin account based on the SAME email address / MS account. I will always use the Admin account on the new desktop and I will not create a Standard User account there.

Can I somehow delete the Standard User account on the old desktop from the new desktop? The MS account shows both old and new desktops.

Is there a need at all to delete the Standard User account on the old, retired desktop?

I doubt there's a "need". But I would delete the standard account just for security reasons.
On the other hand... you could keep it for use by... "guests"?

Nope.
It’s not my business why you don’t want to turn your laptop on and just manually remove the user account, but if you’re not using that laptop anymore due to security concerns or whatever, take a hammer to it. But please post a video if you do it?

If it is security related, turn off your internet/router and boot up the laptop, remove the user account?

There's an app called TeamViewer that allows connecting remotely to another computer. I've used it to help some of my students out of a mess, so I assume you can remote into your other computer. It's been awhile since I used it, but IIRC, it's simple to use and understand.

Better yet, if you're not going to use the old desktop any more, I'd remove the hard drive from it, then donate it to Goodwill. They take them in, working or not, fix 'em up and sell them cheap. I've been known to take a hammer to old hard drives just so no data can be retrieved from it. Once, hubby and I took a boat ride while letting the old hard drive water ski behind us.
