I love this

security warning on Ms's own iso's !!!!!!!! something wrong somewhere !!! -- this was the "ms's own W2K22 server trial -- you could only get it by logging on to their site so if it's "contaminated" it has to be them. I ignored the warning - I suspect it's just a general nag in server settings about "external devices" probably having security set too high !!!

In @jimbo45's case it may not be a blocked file. Note that the ISO file concerned is on a network drive (knowing Jimbo, most likely not shared by a Windows device). I get exactly the same warning when accessing my external usb HDD shared from my router's usb port - and these are my own backup files!

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

Hi folks
file not blocked -- and I just ignored the warning it threw up -- I'm not against better security but "too much" rather weakens it as people will either ignore or find other ways to bypass -- some sort of decent A.I would work here - maybe quick scan etc before popping up warning. I'm using WD at "default" security level.
