Your Phone - notifications problem

I have the Your Phone app linked to my Samsung S21. Everything is set up properly and connected.

For some reason I don't get PC notifications for everything on the phone - I'll always get SMS notifications and from Lloyds Banking app but not from (for example) Sky News, BBC News, Instagram.

All notifications are set to ON in the app settings and also in the PC Settings/Notifications, and they do show up in the app itself (with a badge count on the taskbar icon). They just don't appear in the PC notification area.

I've done everything, reset the app, unlinked and relinked the phone. To all intents and purposes the app is working as it should.

You may be expecting too much from the simple app.

WSA will allow running of apps from the Amazon store. From what I am hearing, WSA is already here for Insiders.

Not in the US so can't use WSA. The Your Phone app was working properly until recently
