Google account asks for an alterntive email address. I use Gmail have just installed Thunderbird. Can I use 'myname@thunderbird.com' as an alternative email address? If not, has anyone any suggestions.

@Ben Myers, @Fabler2 Thanks for your response. The Windows 11 bug that you mention refers to a preview build of Windows 11. I have just run 'Check for updates' and it confirms that my system is up to date. Surely, this bug should now be fixed by Microsoft.
