Thank you both for your replies. Since version 9 works fine (at least all the functions I've used all these years), I can't justify upgrading. And, in fact, somewhere on this forum in another thread (which I can't find again), I recall comments about Corel PSP not being nearly as good as JASC...

I installed my old version of JASC Paint Shop Pro 9 on my new Win 11 computer. The program works well - no problems using it. However, after checking the Win 11 performance monitor, I notice an error has been recorder after exiting PSP. I totally clear Performance Monitor, and the problem...
