Hi,
Windows update insists on installing 2 outdated Intel drivers for me.
Changing it in the control panel or changing option one (Gpedit) doesn't block them...
The only solution that works definitely is :
1) Suspend Windows update
2) to hide the 2 drivers with the Microsoft tool...
Hi,
This won't fix the problem, but perhaps you can use the Microsoft wushowhide.diagcab tool to hide these updates while waiting for a fix?
I use it to block the installation of obsolete drivers that Windows Update absolutely wants to install.
You can download it here ...
Hi,
If you install Windows 11 with a Microsoft account, Onedrive immediately moves the folders when Windows starts.
Uninstalling Onedrive doesn't change anything, the damage is done. ;'(
Check the location of your users\your_name\ folders with Regedit ...
Hi,

@TairikuOkami
Thank you for your explanations.

I understand better why Mailspring did not need authorization to access my Microsoft account, unlike other email clients I have tried.
Of course.
This is a first possibility for opening software in reduced mode.

cd "C:\Users\Pistache\AppData\Local\Mailspring"
start /min mailspring.exe --background
Hi
Yesterday I looked for a new email client to replace Windows Mail which will soon disappear.
My requirements :
- Free
- Runs silently on startup in the system Tray. Without loading popup or not opening directly !
- Windows notifications on new mail.
- Dark theme
- Simple and fast.
I tested...
Microsoft Mail is going away soon and the "new outlook" is just a copy of the website with ads.
Is there an alternative to check hotmail?
Something simple, lightweight, secure and that checks the inbox in the background?
I tried Thunderbird, but it feels like I'm driving an elephant to catch...
I tried Repair Install/Upgrade.
Unfortunately the problem was still there.
I completely reinstalled Windows 11.
It's a little longer, but it's more radical to fix it. ;-)
Anyhow, thanks for your help. :)
