As long as you uninstalled defraggler the next step is to manually delete all those DFOptmizer_ .......Bin files off of your "C" drive. Then empty the recycle bin. Reevaluate free space on "C", and see whats left as free files on "C"

I copy my image files as well as my data backup to a removable USB powered external hard drive. The model I use is WD passport. You can get 4 Tb for $100. I do not have my external drive bootable.

I think these Samsung SSD's are pretty heat tolerant. I've had a 1TB 970 EVO for 3 years. It often hits the high 60's under heavy load. I can drive those temps to the low 60's with max fans
