It could be due to secure boot in Asus 1.

Are you accessing bios thru recovery or using the bios key; I believe it's the F2 key for Asus but it could be esc, or del?
I know the Oct update broke mouse and KB in recovery environment. I have not heard anything about it affecting bios. Microsoft has released an emergency update, KB5070773, to fix issues with the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) that arose after the October 14, 2025 update

Test using with a usb mouse. No cordless. Does the touchpad work in bios?

Hi glasskuter, I think I have nothing to worry about Asus 1, although I would prefer not to have Bitlocker.
I have been trying to get Asus 2 Secure Boot Active for over a week.
I only have cordless mice.
Asus uses F2 for BIOS access on both.

If temporarily disabling Secure Boot on ASUS 1 fixes the mouse problem, then Secure Boot is blocking Logitech's wireless driver as insecure. You'd have to look on Logitech's support forum or elsewhere online if there's a known fix or driver update.

Depending on the mouse's age, there might not be a fix.

Hi garlin, I have used a PC for many years and never ever accessed the BIOS.
I am only trying to activate Secure Boot. I always exit without saving as I don't know what I'm doing even with Asus assistance.

You should be able find in the BIOS menu, an option to Enable or Disable Secure Boot. You don't need any of the other options for Secure Boot.
