It is not that well known but US prices are shown net and you have to add Sales Tax usually.
In UK consumer (not company) prices are of course shown gross including VAT.
At one time, you could buy software from abroad and VAT addition was not always done. However HMRC tightened up rules so no different to purchases in UK.
However US prices are often quoted as net in advertising so they add on the VAT same at point of sale (like they do with US Sales Tax).
Unfortunately, we are used to prices being quoted with VAT for consumer purchases, so it sort of catches you out when 20% is added.
I am not sure if companies pay net or gross of VAT for overseas purchases.
The format in Isoo is .pmf so can be restored or individual files copied out by diskgenius. But unlike diskgenius .pmfx I dont think .pmf can be edited.
