I personally use KeePassXC myself, along with the individual browser addons for KPXC, so I can have the OTPs (One Time Passwords) used with 2FA/MFA entered by a button click. You have a lot of control with KPXC, in that you can manually type them in, copy from database and paste, use a shortcut key to auto-fill, or the browser extension to auto-fill.

The really big bonus is that KPXC is also used to store other stuff - passwords, secrete keys, even files (like backup one time use password lists).

I use this as the secondary 2FA along with MS Authenticator.

It can use Windows-Hello, it prevents the creation of screenshots, it uses windows permissions.

I am using BitWarden for my password manager. It supports TOPT as well. But I would like to use another solution to store my 2FA, for obvious reasons (don't put all your eggs in one basket).

2fast and KeePassXC seems to be the solution I am looking for.

KeePassXC does give you the option of having two independent databases (one for storing passwords and one for TOTP).

Edit: A little tip for WinAuth.
When you first run WinAuth.exe, it creates winauth.xml in a user folder. If you want to make WinAuth truly portable, move winauth.xml into the WinAuth.exe folder and it'll continue to access it from there.
