I am sorry - I do not believe that.

Everybody I know who has had the full coronavirus had had systems ranging from a cold through to heavy flu, usually lasting a few days to up to 15 days (I know that as it took me 15 days before my LFR tests showed I was Covid free.

I have had it twice, and possibly a third time.

All those who have had jabs had symptoms ranging from none at to a day or two with a "heavy arm" and feeling a little under the weather. Most had just a slightly sore arm for up to a day.

PS UK is rolling out 4th jab for over 60's now, with over 50's being the next batch soon.

Whilst I am often critical of public service inefficiency, credit to the NHS management of the rollout of injections - it has worked well, and very few have had to phone up to see why they have not got letters.

I have had 4, 2 x AZ's 1x Moderna and a Pfizer and never had any problems with any of them, neither has my wife. IMO If social didn't post all the rubbish about them, people wouldn't think about them and there would be a lot less people with side effects. I know some people have genuine problems, but so many just jump on the bandwagon

Had my 4th two weeks ago, and if necessary I will get a fifth and a sixth or however many Public Health tells me I need.

The side effects from the vaccine are not pleasant with me, though. I can usually be counted on being out of commission for a day or so, but it is better than the alternative. At least with a vaccine I have a lesser chance of catching Covid, and if I do, the symptoms are likely to be milder, perhaps keeping me out of the hospital.

Exercising the arm and massaging the area where the shot was given helps. I've had two J&J shots. My wife has had three shots.

I've had 5 shots altogether, all of them the Pfizer, apart from the last one, the new Moderna one. I've had no reaction to any of them, not even a sore arm. :-)

I got the latest a month ago and no ill effects. I survived the Asiatic Flu back in '57/'58, worst part then was the cough and working in construction. Apparently that built some antibody. The annual flu shots have never bothered me, will be getting it this week. Also saw some Israel scientists' research linking a person's Vitamin D level to the effect of COVID, been on it for more than 15 years since medico suggested it because I work mostly inside, out of the sun.

I get Vitamin D, it's part of my Calcichew medication for Osteoporosis, been taking that for years. I think I've had flu twice in my lifetime, I was in the last year of school at the time of the Asiatic Flu, didn't get it. I think being part of the generation that played outside all the time and didn't bother about getting dirty helped give me a decent immune system. :-)

You're right about that. I was a Kansas farm boy through summer of '53 [4th year of the drought] doing the farming, dad had to work in town. Moved to town for my Freshman year. I had graduated just before that "epidemic" hit, big difference was we didn't have the communications we do now so we had to learn how to deal with it.
