Activating USB Ports On New PC ?

Hello,

If this is not the correct, or best, Forum for this question, please
let me know where I should Post it.

Have a new W11 desktop.

On my old pc, everything worked reqarding the USB Ports, etc.
New one has "issues."

Is there a setting somewhere in W11 that activates, or de-activates, a built in pc's USB Port ?

If so, where can I find it so I can make all of the USB Ports
on this new PC active ?

This is second report regarding usb ports in the last 2 days. See if any of the answers here benefit you.

All USB ports are inoperative. supplies 5volts to devices but windows 11 ver24H2 does not recognize devicey

Wouldn't they need a working keyboard and/or mouse? Unless they have Bluetooth and a Bluetooth keyboard and/or mouse I don't see how they would check Device Manager. Even if they do have Bluetooth devices I would return it. To me it sounds like they got a computer that should have come in the color of yellow. To be more exact I should say lemon yellow.

I just meant open the Device Manager, pop a thumb drive stick in and see if there 's any errors or "Unknown drive" I would still return it. I just poped a San Disk Cruzer Mini.....in and it's under Disk Drives....... I never had a USB issue. Cheers 24H2 (OS Build 26100.5074)
