Add delay to the taskbar auto-hiding feature?

So i have set the taskbar to auto hide in windows settings but unfortunately, there´s no way to control how fast the taskbar appears when moving the mouse to the bottom of screen. I don´t want it to appear immediately so i want to add a time delay, for example 2 seconds before the taskbar appears after moving mouse to the bottom of screen.
How can i do this?

Is there any tweak i can install that lets me set a time delay?

Or can i modify it from the windows registry somehow?

I did find a solution on microsoft forums but this solution only shows how to add a delay for the taskbar to stay visible longer after having been shown already when moving the mouse back up from the bottom again, not what i am looking for. But if there´s a way to add delay for the above, then my guess there should be a way to add it also for my request.

Anyone smart that can help me do this via registry mod?

Found another solution from microsoft forums and this one relates to exactly what i am looking for, however after trying this little application called "TaskbarActivate", i still can´t make it work and not sure if it´s because the app is outdated or something else?

The application does hide the taskbar and it has a time delay setting but unfortunately, it doesn´t seem to work. Directly after installing and running it, the taskbar is hidden but now i can´t access it at all when hovering with the mouse at the bottom of screen. So the only way to make it appear again is to chage the activation settings and uncheck "completely hide bar in the background" but then the delay set has no effect and the taskbar appears just the way it did before installing the application.

I find it odd there´s isn´t an easy fix for this..
