This tutorial will show you how to either add pages to an existing or new notebook or remove pages from a notebook in Copilot on the web and app in Windows 11.
The Microsoft Copilot app is an AI here to give advice, inspiration, and help when you need a hand. You can start a conversation to get clear answers to tough questions, turn ideas into images, or polish your writing until it shines.
Signing into Copilot using your personal Microsoft Account gives you access to your chat history, image creation, longer conversations, voice interactions, and other Copilot features.
Copilot Pages is a distinct experience from Microsoft Copilot chat designed to help you write or iterate ideas with Copilot’s help. Pages is ideal for planning, writing, organizing thoughts, outlining, or brainstorming.
Copilot Notebooks are AI‑powered workspaces where you can bring together your content and sources so Copilot can understand the full picture and give you more relevant, context‑aware responses. Share notebooks with people to collaborate in real time, exchange knowledge, and build together with Copilot. As you work, get focused answers tailored to your notebook's content and keep adding references that update dynamically as your project evolves.
You can work with your notebook two ways: the lightweight Notebooks experience in the Microsoft Copilot app, and the fuller, workspace-focused experience in OneNote. The same notebook opens in both, so you can move between the experiences without losing context.
Copilot Notebooks operates as an intelligent, scoped workspace. When you create a notebook, you can add references such as Word documents, PowerPoint decks, Excel sheets, Copilot pages, and more. Copilot then uses only this curated content to help you:
- Receive focused answers tailored to your notebook's content.
- Continue adding references that update in real-time as your project evolves.
- Personalize Copilot’s responses by setting instructions for delivering prompts.
- Listen to audio overviews for a more engaging way to catch up on your material on the go.
- Accomplish anything from small tasks to larger projects without ever leaving the Copilot app.
When you remove a page from a notebook, the page will not be deleted, only removed from the notebook.
