AMD X570 Chipset

When I try to install the AMD X570 chip set driver I cannot get it to install anyone else have a problem Installing it? This is on a

TUF GAMING X570-PRO (WI-FI) motherboard with AMD Ryzen 9 3900 CPU​

What message are you getting?
Do you have 3rd party antivirus program running?
Are there any other programs you are running that might stop the chipset driver?
Where did you get the chipset driver?

No third party anti virus , Not programs running got the chip set driver from AMD and Asus

What error message are you getting?

The only error message is install failed

Save the screenshot as .jpg ...that will make the file much smaller.

Try uninstalling the current chipset driver, then install

There are usually about 5 components that get installed with the X570 chipset. Which ones do you have selected to install

I converted to Jpeg and still to large

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, and uninstall the AMD Chipset software.



Then go here...

...and just follow the directions.




Sorry about all the edits. AMD still doesn't know how to make a website.

My best is that there is a compatibility issue. I know when I upgraded my drivers it checked the compatibility and if it didn't match it failed.

So, on my Ryzen 5900x, i also failed on the power plan. I don't use the AMD power plans, I use the Windows power plans. So, that didn't bother me.

Mine also failed on the PSP driver. The way I worked around it, was I went to the Device Manager, hit the PSP entry, did a driver update from there, pointed it at the C:\amd folder that the chipset extract put there and it updated successfully that way.

This won't help you at all, but I have had no problem installing the latest chipset drivers on my Asus Tuf Gaming X570-Plus. (Which isn't the WiFi version.)

I can't pretend to understand the log that you posted, but are you trying to install the drivers from a User account? That may not be permitted (unless you do a "run as administrator"). I foolishly use an admin level account for my normal usage, even though that is unsecure.
