I've reset the Microsoft Store and Xbox app and all install locations are set to the C: drive in both the apps and Windows settings. However, the folder keeps reappearing after I delete it, even when the PC is idle. Is there a way to stop it?

It's the Xbox app. Have its save location on your local (non D:) drive. Try that out and see if it resolves the problem.

It reappears even when I don't launch the Xbox app. I'm out of ideas now

Try temporarily changing the Xbox app's settings (because this app probably runs in the background while its closed), delete that folder, and see if that folder gets re-created after a computer restart.

I just uninstalled the Xbox app since I don't use it and so far the folder hasn't reappeared

You probably still have the Xbox service starting up, even if you don't "have Xbox installed". Check in services and disable anything X-box related.

You could say it's sort of solved but the ideal solution would be to keep the Xbox app installed and have that folder not appear hehe
