Yes, I'm using a paid version since 2023 and the support expires after one year.

I have this installed on two computers and 3 Operating systems. It updated to 10 on the first computer I installed it on but not the second one. I think I can fix it when I get the time
Edit: It was an EASY fix. Just had to install the updater module that only took seconds

Also doing a Google search always gets you answers to question on how to do something (so far). I just did a search on how to have the ribbon bar not auto hide all the time and because PDF-XChange has a forum Google found the answer in the top search results.

One glitch I just ran into is that since I updated to the latest version I do not have a license for that so I will get watermarks. It should have only updated me the the latest version I had support for but it didn't. But I do have the older installer so I can downgrade. KEEP your installer if you choose to buy and not pay every year for extended support or just do not update after your support expires.

I did try both PDF-XChange and PDFgear and they could not fill in the numerical fields that I mentioned in post #37, properly.

It looks like I'm gonna have to print in out, manually fill it out by pen, then either take a picture of it using a phone, or put it through my brother's scanner and create a .pdf of it.

Bummer I have to do it this way. ☹️

Did you create the numerical fields or were they part of a supplied PDF?

It's hard to help when we dont know what the form is. It may be that the form is not text but an image in which case there's another work around but trying to help someone fill out a form that cant share the form is asking too much. You can try converting the PDF document into a Word document. It seems that it was not created to be a fallible form but to be printed and filled out by hand (for security reasons?)

I suspect that's the case here. An image file with a pdf extension without making the fields fillable.

A misleading design, apparently.

Unfortunately, this is pretty common. You can still "fill" in their "form" using the PDF editor's tools to overlay any text you want, but it's tedious and takes more time than printing it and filling in by hand. I still do it though because it looks a lot better than my handwriting.
