Has anyone figured out how to bring the search box back in Windows 11?

Thanks for the tip. I'd really like to have it in the taskbar and, also, when I click on that search box, it just opens the larger window. In other words, you can't actually type into that search box AFAIK.

Yeah the box pops up an blinks on and off for me and doesn't accept input.

I think I'd rather have the search box back on the taskbar too, I never realized how much I used it until they took it away :(

That is probably slated for a future release, as the taskbar is a completely different animal in 11 than it was in 10.
