No you don't pay. The old "classic" versions are available for free thanks to Winaero. The modern versions (Mahjong, Solitare, Minesweeper) are available for free in Microsoft Store.

After recent Windows updates it displays some error about some .dll when loading, but then I click OK to close the error message and works OK.

Another DOSBox user here. I run an old dBase type program called dBMan. I wrote several programs using it and can run them on 64bit with DOSBox. We're still using one of the dBMan programs I wrote in 1987 to run our business on a 32bit Windows 10 machine.

That's the good thing with old software. They load and work very fast on modern computers. I remember when this was a disadvantage. Back when I had an Intel Pentium 150MHz computer running Windows 95 and then upgraded to Windows 98, there was no such thing as DosBox to play our older MS-DOS games. We ran them natively on a Command Prompt window. However some of them based their timings on the much slower Intel 8088 and 8086 CPUs and were too fast to play on a Pentium. In fact I remember seeing an extremely fast game for a few seconds and then game over before I had the chance to do anything. Thankfully there were special utilities that would slow down the CPU several cycles and make these old games playable. Much like you set the number of CPU cycles in DosBox.

There are later free versions of Money - I use the last UK version Money 2005
